PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which in the method of smoothing sensitivity of a counting rate in the conventional radiation monitor, an energy characteristic relies on the number of steps of a correction circuit, and should an excellent characteristic is desired, increase in the number of steps of the correction circuit has resulted in increase in costs.SOLUTION: The radiation monitor according to the present invention comprises; a radiation detector that outputs a pulse of a wave height in accordance with an energy of an incident radiation; and a calculation part that includes a first counting rate calculation function part of inputting the pulse, discriminating a wave height corresponding to a measurement object energy, counting the discriminated wave height, controlling a time constant so as to make a standard deviation uniform and measuring a counting rate, a second counting rate calculation function part of inputting the pulse, discriminating the wave height corresponding to an attention energy, counting the discriminated wave height, measuring a second counting rate on the basis of the time constant of the first counting rate calculation function part and outputting the second counting rate and a correction calculation function part of correcting an energy characteristic of the first counting rate on the basis of the second counting rate. |
