PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prediction mode encoding method and a prediction mode decoding method that reduce an additional encoded amount resulted from increase of the number of intra prediction modes.SOLUTION: An intra prediction decoding method comprises: de-multiplexing intra-prediction information and residual signals; decoding an intra prediction mode of a current prediction unit using the intra prediction information and intra prediction modes of prediction units adjacent to the current prediction unit; generating reference pixels using one or more available reference pixels if there exist unavailable reference pixels of the current prediction unit; filtering the reference pixels on the basis of the decoded intra prediction mode; generating a prediction block using the decoded intra prediction mode and the reference pixels; decoding the de-multiplexed residual signals to generate a residual block; and generating a reconstructed block using the prediction block and the residual block.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
