PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that relevance between a distance map and a photographed image data becomes low, and an unexpected operation occurs during edition of the photographed image data, and the availability of the distance map becomes degraded due to a photographing technique.SOLUTION: A recording device capable of storing distance map information includes: video input means for receiving an input video; encoding means for encoding input data; map generation means for generating distance map information; photographic condition determination means for determining a photographic condition; and reliability determination means for determining the reliability of the distance map information generated from the photographic condition, therein the generation method of the distance map information by the map generation means is switched in accordance with the reliability determined by the reliability determination means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
