PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferrule with an optical fiber that is readily assembled and can easily achieve a long-term stable maintenance of an optical characteristic of an optical fiber extending from a ferrule body to a rear side, an optical apparatus including the ferrule with the optical fiber, and an assembly method for the optical apparatus.SOLUTION: A ferrule 11 with an optical fiber includes: a body sleeve 21; a ferrule body 22 fixed in the body sleeve 21; an optical fiber 23 whose tip part is fixed to the ferrule body 22 by interpolation; and a protective tube 25 that is inserted around the optical fiber 23 and inserted inside the body sleeve 21. The protective tube 25 is adhesively fixed to the body sleeve 21. The optical fiber 23 extends from a rear end of the protective tube 25. The protective tube 25 has a bending strength of 15-25Mpa, an external diameter of 2-4 times of an internal diameter, and a thickness of 0.3 mm or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
