PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring camera apparatus capable of suppressing deterioration of LEDs while suppressing flicker.SOLUTION: A monitoring camera apparatus includes shutter control means having an optical system and an imaging sensor for imaging a predetermined area, and controlling the shutter speed of a camera, illumination means having optical elements for illuminating the imaging area of the camera, and illuminance control means for controlling the illuminance of the illumination means. The illuminance control means can control by at least any one of the PWM control for controlling the lighting interval of the optical elements, and analog control for controlling the value of a current flowing to the optical elements. Control method is switched between the PWM control and analog control, according to the shutter speed setting of the shutter control means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
