PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable good connection of a flat cable to a substrate to be connected without failure such as adhesion failure and short circuit.SOLUTION: A flat cable 1 comprises a plurality of rectangular conductors 2 arranged on a plane, and an insulating film 3a bonded to the rectangular conductors 2 excluding at least one end of the rectangular conductors 2 from both sides of an arrangement surface. The rectangular conductors 2 are exposed at at least one end of the rectangular conductors 2. The flat cable 1 has through holes 17 penetrating the flat cable 1, and a fixing member 30 for fixing the flat cable 1 and a substrate 21 to be connected with the flat cable 1 is inserted through the through holes 17.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
