PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-shielding device for optical characteristic measurement that can appropriately measure the optical characteristic of a desired light source without using a dark room.SOLUTION: A light-shielding device B for optical characteristic measurement is used in combination with a light source setting device 1 in which a light source L of an optical characteristic measurement object is set and an optical characteristic measuring device A comprising a light receiver 2 for receiving light from the light source L. The light-shielding device B comprises a light-shielding cylindrical portion 4 that is placed between the light source setting device 1 and the light receiver 2, surrounds the circumference of a light path 9 from the light source setting device 1 to the light receiver 2, and prevents disturbance light from entering the light path 9.
