PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a finder device which prevents the upsizing of a camera by contriving the arrangement of the component parts of a finder and also whose failure occurring due to the arrangement thereof is eliminated. SOLUTION: The finder device has a display element 3 within an image plane constituting a display device within an image plane, a 1st field frame 21 provided on the light emitting surface of the element 3, a display device outside an image plane 8, and a 2nd field frame 22 provided on the light emitting surface of the device 8. The device 8 is arranged so that it may be positionally deviated in a finder optical axis direction with the element 3 and may be partially superposed on the element 3 and prevents reflected light on the edge surface 22a of the frame 22 from being guided to oculars 5 to 7 by arranging the frame 22 so as not to be orthogonal to the finder optical axis direction.
