<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve transmission characteristics, to reduce a power consumption, and to reduce cost, by reducing the number of switches for switching antennas and decreasing the loss generated in a high frequency signal. <P>SOLUTION: A signal received by a vertically polarized wave dipole antenna 11 is transmitted to a receiver 21, being always connected to the dipole antenna 11; whereas either of signals, received by a horizontally polarized wave dipole antenna 12 and an obliquely polarized wave dipole antenna 13, is selected by a switch 3, and the selected signal is supplied to a receiver 22. When reception SNR deteriorates, the switch 3 selects the other signal; when the SNR is improved, the connection state is maintained in its state; and when the SNR is deteriorated in its state, the switch 3 selects the original signal to switch the RF (high-frequency) signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
