<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy mechanism for limiting communication with a device to a predetermined amount. <P>SOLUTION: This apparatus to be connected to a device comprises a communication control section for communicating with the device in response to a communication request, and a processing section for performing processing relevant to the device. The communication control section limits the communication corresponding to the other communication request until the communication corresponding to one communication request is completed. The processing section issues a communication request and a specification of a predetermined callback function to the communication control section.
