The fuel supply unit (2) comprises a surge pot (3) arranged in a fuel tank (1) of a vehicle, where a fuel pump (4) is provided for supplying fuel to an internal combustion engine. A housing (8) is provided with a frame (12) that is arranged perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of a mixing tube of a suction jet pump (6). A filter fabric (15) is arranged on both sides (13,14) of the frame to form a filter (7). The frame has an opening (11) arranged between the filter fabrics in an area of the frame, facing the suction jet pump.
