摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To materialize higher efficiency by increasing magnetic flux which contributes to the torque of a rotor, in a toroidally-wound dynamo-electric machine. SOLUTION: A stator 12 has a circular core section 26 and coils 28u, 28v, and 28w which are toroidally wound on the circular core section 26. A rotor has a radial rotor 14, which is counterposed to the stator 12 in a radial direction orthogonal to a rotating shaft 22, and an axial rotor 64, which is counterposed to the stator 12 in a direction parallel with the rotating shaft 22. The magnetic connection between the radial rotor 14 and the axial rotor 64 is cut by the radial rotor 14 and the axial rotor 64 being mechanically coupled with each other via the nonmagnetic rotating shaft 22 and a nonmagnetic disc-shaped member 23.
