PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of dew condensation or a temperature rise on the lens front face of a video camera stored in a doom-like casing and on the inner face of a dome cover by a small and simple structure. SOLUTION: A monitoring camera device 10 is provided with a base plate 16 provided in a dome-like casing 11 having a dome cover 13, a pan chassis 23 freely rotatably provided with respect to the base plate 16, a pan drive mechanism part G1 for rotationally driving the pan chassis 23, a video camera 14 supported by the pan chassis 23 or by a tilt chassis 29 mounted to the pan chassis 23, and a fan 28 that is integrally mounted to the pan chassis 23 so as to blow air A toward the lens front face 14b of the video camera 14 and the inner face 13b of the dome cover 13.
