<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately predict the winding temperature of the nose part of a rolled stock to be hot-rolled. <P>SOLUTION: This method of predicting the temperature of the nose part of a rolled stock 5 is used when manufacturing the rolled stock 5 by cooling the stock after performing hot rolling and winding it. In the nose part of the rolled stock 5, temperature deviationΔT which is difference between the target vale and the actual value of the winding temperature is determined and a temperature deviationΔT' in which the effect of the flatness in the nose part of the rolled stock 5 is removed is determined from the determined temperature deviationΔT and, on the basis of the determined temperature deviationΔT', an independent termα<SB>B</SB>from the flatness of a heat transfer rate is estimated and also the learning of the independent termα<SB>B</SB>from the flatness of the heat transfer rate is performed and the winding temperature of the nose part of the rolled stock is predicted on the basis of the heat transfer rateα<SB>B</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
