PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing hair treatment that has excellent effect of eliminating unpleasant characteristic odor produced at the time of treating the hair with a hair treatment agent containing cysteamine and/or a salt thereof.SOLUTION: The invention provides a deodorizing hair treatment for eliminating unpleasant characteristic odor of a hair treatment agent containing cysteamine and/or a salt thereof, the deodorizing hair treatment comprising lactic acid and alkali metal salt thereof, wherein the content of lactic acid is 2.0-8.0% by weight, the content of alkali metal salt thereof is 1.0-8.0% by weight, and the pH is 2.7-4.3.SELECTED DRAWING: None
