PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a hydrogen production device for hydrogen station, that, construction cost thereof is expensive, so that as one of solutions for reducing cost, an internal heating type hydrogen production method using a radiant tube burner is proposed, to a modification reactor using a conventional external heating reaction tube, but, for the modification reactor having RTB, many and expensive RTBs are required, resulting in hindrance of significant cost reduction of production cost of the modification reactor.SOLUTION: An additional off-gas burning furnace is installed on a modification reactor, thereby a number of expensive RTBs is reduced, there is no limitation about a heat generation amount of off-gas serving as fuel, and selection of size and length of a heat transfer tube, so that, optimal design of the heat transfer tube is achieved and cost of the reactor is reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
