PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mercury atomic absorption spectrometer and a mercury analysis system that have improved detection lower limits and analysis accuracy and are downsized and less expensive.SOLUTION: A mercury atomic absorption spectrometer 100 comprises: a mercury light source 1 for emitting light beams as analytical lines of mercury, the mercury light source 1 emitting a first beam 12 in a first direction from a first opening 11, and a second beam 14 in a second direction opposite to the first direction from a second opening 13; a light absorption cell 2 through which the first beam 12 and measurement gas pass; a measuring-side detector 3 for detecting an intensity of the first beam 12 that has passed through the light absorption cell 2; a reference-side detector 4 for detecting an intensity of the second beam 14 directly incident from the mercury light source 1; and quantification means 5 for quantifying mercury in the measurement gas passed through the light absorption cell 2 based on a ratio of the intensity detected by the measuring-side detector 3 to the intensity detected by the reference-side detector 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
