PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of molded bellows having a low spring constant as compared with that of conventional molded bellows, and molded bellows obtained by the method. SOLUTION: The production method of molded bellows includes: a first forming step of forming primary molded bellows by forming a plurality of protrusions curved in the circumferential direction on a metallic tubular member in such a manner that the protrusions are apart from each other with certain intervals therebetween in the axial direction; a compression step of compressing to shorten the primary molded bellows obtained in the first forming step, by a certain length in the axial direction; a heat-treatment step of heat-treating the primary molded bellows compressed in the compression step at a certain temperature; and an extension step of axially extending the primary molded bellows heat-treated in the heat-treatment step so that the bellows may have a predetermined length.
