USER AUTHENTICATION METHOD AND SYSTEM USING RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION

A method and a system for authenticating a user with RFID(Radio Frequency ID) are provided to enable a user wanting to use a web service to subscribe and cancel the web service through a simple procedure and authenticate the user for the registered web service by recognizing an RFID tag once. An RFID processor(610) requests user information to a tag information system(630) including a tag information database through a tag ID received from a user terminal. A user authenticator(620) authenticates a user of the user terminal based on the user information. The user authentication part comprises a registered user checker(621) checking whether the user is the registered user based on the user information, a user register(622) registering the user when the user is an unregistered user, and an authenticator(623) authenticating the user when the user is the registered user.
