A belt conveyor swerving prevention apparatus is provided to prevent shipment from falling down and damage to a belt by prevent a belt from being swerved by controlling revolution angle of a return roller according to the transfer position of a guide roller. A belt conveyor swerving prevention apparatus comprises: a body(110) installed in a width direction at the lower part of a frame of a belt conveyor; a rotary gear(120) rotatably formed on the top of the body; a return roller(130) being formed on the top of the rotary gear and being contacted with the bottom surface of the moving belt and guiding a traveling direction; a pair of engaged gears(140) installed on the top of the body to engage with both sides of the rotary gear for rotating; a pivot bracket(150) formed on the top of the engaged gear; and a guide roller(160) equipped in the leading end of the pivot bracket.
