PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillator capable of generating a high-speed clock.SOLUTION: An oscillator 210 generates N phases clocks CLKA including an N-th phase (N represents an integer of 2 or more) clock, from a first phase clock that has a phase shifted at equal intervals by (360°/N). A pulse generation section 220 receives two or more among the N phases clocks CLKA, and generates a plurality of intermediate pulses CLKB each of which has a duty ratio of 25%. A clock synthesis section 230 synthesizes the plurality of intermediate pulses CLKB, and generates a single phase or multi-phase output clock CLKC having a frequency two times the oscillation frequency of the oscillator 210.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
