PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet accumulation device and a paper sheet processor, capable of surely accumulating paper sheets without jam. SOLUTION: A separation accumulation device comprises an accumulation part 20 successively accumulating a paper sheet carried in an arrowed direction 3b; a patting wheel 30 patting the carrying directional rear end of the paper sheet sent to the accumulation part 20 toward the carrying direction; a stopper 23 allowing the carrying directional top end of the paper sheet sent to the accumulation part 20 to abut thereon to stop it; and a weight guide 26 pressing the carrying directional rear end of the stopped paper sheet. The weight guide 26 is pushed up and rotated by the carried paper sheet, and functions to press the vicinity of the carrying directional rear end of the paper sheet by the dead weight.
