A flexible seal 8 for sealing a side panel (6, figures 1 and 2) to a vehicle body is supported by a wire 11 which sits in a channel 10 in the seal 8 and is connected at one end to a rigid part (7) of the top's framework and at its other end to the tension bow (4) via a coil spring 13. The spring 13 holds the wire 11 taut while the top is erected. The presence of the wire enhances water leak and wind noise performance of the seal 8. |
