<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server for collection location information and a system for collecting the location information, capable of collecting the location information of a cellular phone in a server side, and capable of transmitting proper advertisement information to a user. <P>SOLUTION: A base station information control server has: a means for receiving base station specifying information and cellular phone identifying information from a base station of repeating information transmitted from the cellular phone; a means for extracting location information of the base station from the base station specifying information; and a means for transmitting the extracted information and the cellular phone identifying information to the server for collecting the positional information. The server for collection the location information has: a means for receiving URL information and the cellular phone identifying information transmitted from the cellular phone, based on the URL, from the base station information control server; a means for receiving the location information of the base station receiving a radio wave transmitted from the cellular phone, and the cellular phone identifying information; and a means for correlating the received cellular phone identifying information with the location information to be registered in a location information database. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
