<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device capable of transmitting a type of data required by the reception side, and also, capable of changing the type halfway. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission side device 1 and a reception side device 2 execute communication with each other by establishing a communication connection through a data exchange network. For example, it is possible to make a transfer request for only sound data and that of for only moving image data from the reception side device 2 to the transmission side device 1, when collectively transferring the sound data and the moving image data with the MPEG4 encoding system or the like. On that occasion, it is possible to execute data transfer of requested data, for example, by the G711 encoding system in the case of only the sound data and by the MPEG2 encoding system in the case of the moving image data, while establishing a new communication connection after disconnecting the communication connection up until then. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
