<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backlight assembly in which display quality has been improved in a large extent by shortening overall assembling time, provide a housing container, and a liquid crystal display device. <P>SOLUTION: An electrode socket 120, a second electrode 130, a lamp tube 110, and plasma of the lamp tube 110 interior have a kind of capacitance role. In this way, when dielectric material is inserted between a discharge space and the electrode in which plasma has been formed and when a dielectric capacity impedance is formed, according as the concentration of ion and electron inside the discharge space becomes higher than a specified concentration, the more the electric current flow becomes adversely interfered by the dielectric capacity impedance. By this, when a plurality of lamps having several mutually different current characteristics at the time of manufacturing are driven by one inverter, a current flow of an electrode with superior current characteristics is interfered while a current flow of an electrode with less superior current characteristics is improved, and through repetition of such a process, brightness deviations between the lamps are corrected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
