<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film superior in moldability, strength, moisture permeability and bleed-out properties, its manufacturing method, a polarizing plate and a liquid crystal display device. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the optical film by melting and casting a cellulose resin composition containing a cellulose resin, an ester type plasticizer selected from an ester type plasticizer composed of a polyhydric alcohol and a monovalent carboxylic acid and an ester type plasticizer composed of a polyvalent carboxylic acid and a monohydric alcohol and a stabilizer selected from a phenolic stabilizer, a hindered amine stabilizer and a phosphorous stabilizer, when the yellow index values of the film with a thickness of 80 μm manufactured by a solution casting method using the optical film and the molten matter obtained by heat-treating the optical film at 270°C for 10 min in the atmosphere are respective set to YI (1) and YI (2), YI (1)=0.1 to 1.0 and YI (2) to YI (1)≥1.0 are formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
