<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker capable of obtaining a target finishing state in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: Since an external temperature sensor 20 is fixed to a cooking utensil 9 not affected by a magnetic field from an IH coil 14 without a top plate 3 intervened, and a cooking content is controlled based on an infrared transmission of temperature information corresponding to a detection result of the external temperature sensor 20, an actual temperature of the cooking utensil 9 can be accurately detected without carrying out a gradual reduction control of heating power.
