PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torchon lace machine which can stably rotate a cam wheel for sliding a horizontal shaft for right or left rotating a rotor metal for moving a spindle runner (bobbin spindle). SOLUTION: This torchon lace machine is characterized by selectively contacting two solenoids 16, 17 with the right and left cam surfaces of a cam wheel 7 fixed to the outer end portion of a horizontal shaft 6 to which two bevel gears 5, 5' nipping a bevel gear 4 integrally rotated with a rotor metal 3 horizontally rotatably fit onto one of fixed standing shafts 2 circularly disposed on a base 1 at a prescribed distance are fixed, and fitting a travel member 26 into a dent groove 34 endlessly disposed along a circumference between both the sidewalls of the cam wheel so that the travel member 26 can escape against the pressure of a spring 32, when the cam wheel is slid.
