The present invention relates to an apparatus for sterilizing products in vending machine and a method thereof. The apparatus for sterilizing products in vending machine can provide hygienic can products for a consumer by automatically sterilizing the discharged products when the products are discharged to a product discharging hole from the can vending machine. The apparatus for sterilizing products in vending machine comprises: a control unit for controlling the discharge of the products and controlling the sterilization with respect to the discharged products, when the selling price corresponding to the products selected by the consumer; a product discharge unit for discharging the products selected by the consumer with respect to the control of the control unit; and a sterilization unit for sterilizing the products discharged to the product discharge unit with respect to the control of the control unit. Provided is the hygienically clean can with respect to the can always sold in the can vending machine.
