An autostereoscopic 3D display device according to the present invention is configured to set a width of a viewing diamond to a/n times of a distance between eyes (a and n are natural numbers satisfying a<n) and to overlap viewing diamonds with one another. By doing so, the number of image sources and 3D crosstalk are reduced by implementing the autostereoscopic 3D display device capable of inputting and outputting stereo type image data. Also, the autostereoscopic 3D display device according to the present invention can enlarge a 3D viewing area by applying a view data rendering such that positions of 2D areas are overlapped. The autostereoscopic 3D display device comprises: an image panel which outputs stereo type view data, wherein first to m-th views are sequentially allocated to m (m is a natural number) subpixels; and a 3D filter which is arranged in front of the image panel and separates optic axes of the outputted view data to form viewing diamonds in which a first view image and a second view image are displayed at a viewing distance. |
