DIPOLE ANTENNA HAVING SURFACE RADIATION PATTERN

Disclosed is a dipole antenna having a surface radiation pattern. The disclosed antenna comprises: a dielectric substrate; a dipole radiator including a first dipole element, which is formed on top of the dielectric substrate and is provided with a feeding signal, and a second dipole element electrically connected to grounding; a first parasitic element arranged with a predetermined gap form the first dipole element; a second parasitic element arranged with a predetermined gap from the second dipole element and with a predetermined gap from the first parasitic element; and a ground plane formed on the bottom of the dielectric substrate, wherein a first slot is formed on the ground plane. The disclosed antenna can provide the characteristics of surface radiation via a low-profile structure and maintain the characteristics of surface radiation with respect to a broad band.
