The invention relates to a device and method for controlling a brake system having multiple friction brake devices (312, 322, 323, 324), assigned to individual bogies (31 – 34) or wagons, of a rail vehicle (100), wherein a total braking force in the case of a stopping process is distributed selectively between a subgroup of the friction brake devices, with the result that at least one bogie or one wagon remains free of braking force, and a correspondingly increased braking force is applied to the friction brake devices of the braked bogies or wagons. |
