PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-faced weft knitted fabric which is reduced in cost and improved in stretchability by directly feeding elastic yarns to a knitting machine without requirement of covering yarns.SOLUTION: A double-faced weft knitted fabric of the present invention includes elastic yarns (3a and 3b) and ground yarns (4a and 4b). The elastic yarns (3a and 3b) are each knitted in a single form without being made into a covering yarn. In the double-faced weft knitted fabric, a breaking elongation in the B method (grab method) of JIS L 1096-2010 Testing methods for woven and knitted fabrics is 300% or more in a wale direction and 200% or more in a course direction. The elastic yarns (3a and 3b) are fed to a knitting machine in a state of being elongated two to four times.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
