<p>A method and system for waking up a terminal equipment in a dormant state and providing a packet data service to the terminal equipment are provided. When a termination control system receives a message, which requests to provide a packet data service to the terminal equipment in a predetermined mobile communication network, from a predetermined content providing server, the termination control system sends a paging request to the terminal equipment through signaling in the mobile communication network based on location information of the terminal equipment, creates a session for the terminal equipment based on a response to the paging request, and transmits packet data to the terminal equipment in real time using a push service.</p> |
