[PROBLEMS] To provide a biological tissue fixing plate capable of realizing formalin infiltration in biological tissues from the front-back both sides thereof. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] There is provided fixing plate (2) for use to stick biological tissue (4) of the stomach, bowel, etc. to a surface thereof and immerse the same in formalin, which fixing plate is characterized in that an indefinitely large number of pinholes (1) are made throughout the plate. That is, as formalin can freely pass through the fixing plate (2) through the pinholes (1) made throughout the fixing plate (2), formalin would uniformly infiltrate the front-back both sides of biological tissues, thereby improving the fixing state thereof.
