A pole change type synchronous electric motor performing repetitive magnetization is provided to obtain high output power and high efficiency by increasing the intensity of magnetization of the magnet layer through an exciting pole. In a pole change type synchronous electric motor(100), a stator(110) has a number of teeth(111) wound with a motor coil(112). A rotor(120) rotates from the stator, and has a number of conductors(122). A magnet layer(130) is installed in the rotor to have an air gap with the tooth, and is made of a material to be re-magnetized. An exciting pole(140) has a single body(142) between teeth of the stator, and the body is wound with an excitation coil(141). The exciting pole performs continuous and repetitive magnetization to arrange poles on the magnet layer in turn by preparing a number of magnetization tips(143,144) on the body to face the magnet layer.
