PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability by making a quick photographing property compatible with a fast reporting property in a digital camera which is connected to a network and can be simultaneously controlled from a plurality of users. SOLUTION: The users using the digital camera are registered and access rights and priority orders are set for respective functions. When registering the users, the user who directly operates the operation member of the digital camera and the user who remotely performs operations from a PC are distinguished.
