The device comprises a storage unit (1) and an interface (2) for reading the non-structured data. A coding unit (3) is provided for temporarily coding of the data, where a classification unit (4) is provided for classification of the non-structured data on the basis of the data contents. A programmable control unit (5) defines a parameter data specifically on the basis of a regulation and a classification result. The parameters are storage time of the data and a security setting for the data.
