PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the photostability of a composition containing ketotifens. SOLUTION: The photostability of the composition containing the ketotifen or its salt (an aqueous composition applied for mucous membrane) is improved by blending an amino acid expressed by the following formula (1). The ratio of the amino acid may be 0.01 pt.wt. to 10,000 pts.wt. based on 1 pt.wt. ketotifen or its salt. Such the composition is especially useful as an eye drop agent, an eye-washing agent, a nasal drop agent and a contact lens agent.
