PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an influence by focus shake in imaging. SOLUTION: Optical equipment 200 has: imaging optical systems 201 to 204; a control means 207 controlling movement in an optical axis direction of a focus lens 203 included in the imaging optical system; a shake detection means 212 detecting the shake of the optical equipment in the optical axis direction; and a storage means 208 storing a plurality of shakes successively detected by the shake detection means. In response to an instruction to start exposure for imaging, the control means calculates shake during the exposure as predicted shake before the exposure is started on the basis of the plurality of shake amounts at least including the shake amount detected after the instruction stored in the storage means, and moves the focus lens before the exposure is started on the basis of the predicted shake. The control means determines delay time from the instruction of starting the exposure until the exposure, and calculates the predicted value in accordance with length of the delay time.
