The present invention relates to an elevator capable of blocking smoke in fire and, more specifically, to a platform door unit for an elevator having a smoke blocking structure without receiving interference on the operation of an elevator door normally, capable of blocking the diffusion of smoke between the elevator and the elevator shaft by perfectly blocking a gap between an elevator door and a door frame by the thermal expansion in the fire and specially, capable of stably blocking the smoke in the fire without receiving the interference on the close of the elevator door normally. The elevator comprises: a door frame formed on both sides and an upper of the exit of the elevator; an elevator door to control a platform and the open and close of the elevator shaft; and a doorsill to guide the open and close of the elevator by installing a guide shoe of the elevator door by being installed on the exit floor of the platform.
