PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable injection of a minute amount of fuel while reducing a spray particle diameter.SOLUTION: An ECU (fuel injection control unit) includes target pressure setting means S21, S22. This target pressure setting means S21, S22 set a target pressure of fuel supplied to an injector to a value equal to or higher than a preset lower limit pressure if partial injection is selected. A change point at which a second order differential value reaches a maximum value is present on a characteristic line representing a relation between the pressure of the fuel supplied to the injector and a spray particle diameter of the fuel injected from an injection hole, and the lower limit pressure is set to the pressure value on the change point.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
