PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a fiber non-woven fabric by spinning a molten polymer.SOLUTION: Although the fiber non-woven fabric contains substantially no solvent, which is different from the case of spinning of a polymer solution, the fiber diameter is extremely small (0.5 μm or less). The fiber non-woven fabric comprises an olefinic thermoplastic resin fiber. The fiber has an average fiber diameter in the range of 0.01 to 0.5 μm. The fiber non-woven fabric has an average pore diameter in the range of 0.01 to 10.0 μm, containing no solvent component.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
