A fishing reel includes a fishline clipping apparatus (60) in which a through hole (16d) is formed at an appropriate portion of a spool, and a shaft portion (62a) of a clipping member (62) which has a fishline clipping portion (62b) is inserted in the through bole and is clipped therein so as to be prevented from being slipped off therefrom elastically so that a fishline can be held between the fishline clipping portion and the spool. The shaft portion (62) of the fishline clipping member (62) can move in a direction which is at a right angle to an axial direction of the shaft portion against a biasing force of an elastic member (66). |
