PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle which can suppress liquid compression in a compressor after instant power stoppage.SOLUTION: An air conditioner for vehicle 1 comprises: a refrigerant circuit including a compressor 11, an outdoor heat exchanger 12, an expansion valve 13 having a variable aperture and an indoor heat exchanger 14; and a control part 5 for controlling the refrigerant circuit. The control part 5 has an instant stoppage detection part 54 for detection of occurrence of an instant power stoppage. When occurrence of an instant power stoppage is detected by the instant stoppage detection part 54, an aperture of the expansion valve 13 is maintained at an aperture immediately before occurrence of the instant power stoppage for a period from occurrence of the instant power stoppage to power turn.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
