PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation detection device capable of improving detection precision of operation detection.SOLUTION: When a driver has a small hand or puts on gloves, an electrostatic capacity variation amount is small and does not reach an initial detection threshold even when grip detection is performed in a situation in which steering grip detection is assumed to be affirmative. Therefore, when no threshold correction is not followed, a drive assist system is canceled since grip detection ends in failure in this situation. In an example of the present invention, however, threshold correction is performed to lower the detection threshold when the grip detection is denied in the situation. Consequently, the electrostatic capacity variation amount reaches the detection threshold and then the drive assist system continues to operate since the grip detection is enabled in the situation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
