PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retaining wall surface material that suppresses a rise in costs for constructing a retaining wall structure and ensures safety thereof, and enables remaining life assessment focusing on deterioration of a connection member embedded partially in the retaining wall surface material after constructing the retaining wall structure, by a simple visual inspection.SOLUTION: A retaining wall surface material includes a wall surface material body 10 and at least one connection part. The connection part includes first and second connection members 21, 22 embedded partially in the wall surface material body 10, a reinforcing material 23 connected to the first and the second connection members 21, 22, and a coupling member for coupling the connection members and the reinforcing member. A horizontal load supporting the wall surface material body 10 is transmitted to the reinforcing material 23 through the first connection member 21 and the coupling member. When the first connection member 21 has lost the load bearing capacity, the horizontal load supporting the wall surface material body 10 is transmitted to the reinforcing material 23 through the second connection member 22 and the coupling member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
