PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide topical localized formulations for the treatment or prevention of the parasitic infection of animals, wherein even with high concentrations, crystallization of the active ingredient, skin irritation, and undesirable formulation characteristics (insufficient viscosity, insufficient spreading, insufficient transpiration and insufficient penetration etc.) do not occur, and even after administration of a high volume, no sagging flow occurs and does not result in sticky hair appearance.SOLUTION: The invention provides the isoxazoline compound represented by formula (I), such as 4-[5-(3,5-dichlorophenyl)-5-trifluoromethyl-4,5-dihydroisoxazol-3-yl]-2-methyl-N-[(2,2,2-trifluoroethyl carbamoyl)-methyl]-benzamide; and a topical localized formulation containing glycofurol.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
