PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology effective for improving efficiency in heat exchange between a working gas and a heat exchange medium, in a thermoacoustic engine self-exciting and oscillating a working gas.SOLUTION: A thermoacoustic engine 100 according to the present invention includes a heat accumulator 111 incorporated in a thermoacoustic pipe 102 in which a working gas is sealed, and having a plurality of flow channels 111c extended in a pipe longitudinal direction of the thermoacoustic pipe 102, heat exchangers 112, 113 exchanging heat with the working gas so that a temperature gradient is generated between both end portions of the plurality of flow channels 111c of the heat accumulator 111 for self-exciting and oscillating the working gas, and an engine housing 110a accommodating the heat accumulator 111 and including heat insulating spaces 115, 116 configuring passages communicated to the plurality of flow channels 111c in which the working gas flows, and suppressing heat loss in heat exchange between the working gas and a heat exchange medium at the heat exchanger 112 side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
